I used to have a friend living in Auckland New Zealand, she was living near mairangi Bay and kept on sending me beautiful pictures of the volcanic sand and the blue sea. For some reason i found it very hard to reproduce the exacts hues of that sea. Up to this day I don't really think i managed to give that bit of paradise justice. I did another diorama of that place here
